Today I installed the AkoComment component to my Joomla Beta 1.5 Test Site. I use this comment component in one of my Joomla 1.0.12 websites, the WebSEO (click on the link to go to the website) particularly to my blogs on the site since I decided not to use the WordPress blogging engine. Instead I used the articles as blog posts, and that’s where I use the comment component.
Unfortunately though, AkoComments has some compatibility issues with Joomla 1.5 even if it runs in legacy mode. I also tried other comment components to no avail. I will test some other components of the same nature though. I’ll post whatever I find, here.
